Polecam Sees Double for 3D Production

Polecam rigs are used for a wide variety of live sporting events and will soon be able to capture the action in stereoscopic 3D.

Responding to rapidly increasing demand for 3D HD video content, Polecam will display its 3D-Narrow pan and tilt head at NAB (Booth #C7933), which is now supplied as a standard item with all new systems. In fact, Polecam's full production capabilities, including 3D HD capture and storage, will be demonstrated.

An optional 3D-Wide head will also be available, which allows the distance between cameras to be extended so that full 3D impact can be achieved even in long-shot.

The 3D-Narrow and 3D-Wide heads both retain the freedom to achieve sweeping 3D HD sequences that, for the viewer, almost amount to flying.
